I wanted a base tan for my holiday last year so i went on two sunbeds a week for three weeks, i didnt look tanned but when i was on holiday i tanned really easily and didnt burn at all(which i normally do!!) If you want your tan to show then i would suggest still only doing two a week but for 4 or maybe 5 weeks. Dont overdo it tho because they are bad for you and always use a tanning product which will be available from any reputable tanning salon.
